The challenges of both digital transformation and the pandemic have impacted everyone within the library – from library leadership, middle management, to frontline staff. Each has caused libraries to assess where and how they are operating today, but more importantly think about how they should evaluate and prepare for the future.

In a live webinar hosted by the Library Journal, on June 13 at 11:00 am (New York) and 4:00 pm (London), you’ll learn about Florida Gulf Coast University library’s strategic plan, how staff helped create the ideas for it, and how it’s manifested through various library services. You’ll gain insight from the dean of the library about the library’s vision, while also hearing from frontline staff discussing what resonates with them the most and what services are delivering most impact.

Discussion will focus on technology approaches, implementation of new services, workflow efficiencies, and individual contributions that are helping execute the library’s strategic plan.

Participants from Florida Gulf Coast University in this session will be:

  • Dr. Tracy Elliott, PhD, Dean, University Library
  • Matt Losey, Creative Commons Lab Coordinator
  • Emily Schaff, Library Supervisor
  • Bailey Rodgers, Archives Coordinator

Register today and learn more about the unified approach at the Florida Gulf Coast University library.
