Ex Libris ™ is pleased to announce a significant enhancement to the campusM ™ students can now add their student ID cards directly to Apple Wallet. This new feature brings greater convenience and accessibility, allowing students to access their ID cards with just a tap on their iPhone or Apple Watch.
This integration is designed to streamline the student experience, making it easier than ever to access essential campus services and facilities. Whether students are checking in for an event, accessing secure areas on campus, or simply verifying their identity, the digital ID card in Apple Wallet offers a fast and secure solution.
The Apple Wallet functionality is disabled by default, and administrators can enable it through the ID Card configuration settings.
While this update focuses on Apple Wallet, Ex Libris ™ is committed to expanding this capability. Support for Google Wallet is already in development and will be included in a future campusM release, ensuring that students on all major platforms can benefit from this enhanced digital experience.
