We’re pleased to announce that Library Open Workflows (LibOW) has successfully completed a security assessment as part of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) process, marking a significant step in our ongoing commitment to security, compliance, and reliability.

FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that establishes rigorous standards for assessing, authorizing, and continuously monitoring the security of cloud-based products and services. These standards help organizations manage cybersecurity risks and protect sensitive information.

This milestone reflects our commitment to providing libraries with secure, reliable workflow automation solutions. As libraries increasingly turn to automation to simplify operations and improve efficiency, security remains a key priority.

LibOW enables libraries to extend Alma through flexible integrations and automated workflows, helping staff reduce repetitive tasks, streamline processes, and focus on higher-value activities. Strengthening the security of the platform is an essential part of supporting these capabilities and the libraries that rely on them.

As we continue to develop and enhance LibOW, we remain focused on combining innovation, operational efficiency, and strong security practices to help libraries automate workflows with confidence.
