The Italian university was among the first to use the UNIMARC cataloguing format with Alma
Sasso Marconi, Italy—March 9, 2016. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (SNS Pisa) is live with the Alma® library management service and Primo® discovery and delivery solution. SNS di Pisa will benefit from the recently added support in Alma for the UNIMARC cataloguing format.
Dr. Enrico Martellini, library director at SNS Pisa, said: ”Scuola Normale Superiore is moving to cloud computing solutions for its services. In addition, one of our goals is to encourage the shift from printed to electronic resources. Alma and Primo are ideally suited to help us to make this transition.”
