Ex Libris (China) is pleased to announce that the Beijing Normal University has furthered cooperation with Ex Libris by establishing a Joint Training Center that will meet all aspects of advanced training requirements for existing customers in China while serving as a hands-on demonstration site for our potential clients. The Training Center will focus on supporting localization and customization developments
The Beijing Normal University, the first Chinese university to adopt the ALEPH 500 library automation system, is very happy to be able to enhance our cooperation with Ex Libris, said Professor Jiang Lu, Director of the Library. We expect that the Joint Training Center, the first such Ex Libris Training Center in the world, will help improve the application level of all Ex Libris products in China, Professor Jiang added.
The establishment of the joint Ex Libris/Beijing Normal University Training Center exhibits Ex Libris partnership with our customers and our long term commitment to the Chinese market, said Mr. Fucheng Shen, Managing Director, Ex Libris China. We believe that the Joint Training Center will be very productive and benefit all of our Chinese customers as well as demonstrating our commitment to providing a high standard of service to our customers.
