The new app will give library network members a unified channel for communicating about library resources, services, events, and more
London, U.K. March 08, 2022. Ex Libris, part of Clarivate plc (NYSE: CLVT) , is pleased to announce that Switzerland’s Kantonsbibliothek Graubünden (Grisons Cantonal Library) and its educational network of more than 20 Grison libraries have chosen the Ex Libris Library Mobile™ app, powered by the campusM™ solution as its library smartphone solution.
The cantonal library and network will use this new mobile application to increase patrons’ engagement with the library and provide access to curated content, event information, quick polls, and push notifications tailored to the individual’s interests and specific needs. Library Mobile app personalizes content and shows patrons library information that is timely and relevant.
The app will complement the existing methods that the cantonal library and the other libraries of the network has been using to reach their patrons, including various websites, printed flyers and user manuals.
“The Ex Libris Library Mobile app will enable us to quickly and easily communicate with users in all our member libraries at the same time, thus dramatically improving our service,” said Head of the Cantonal Library Graubünden Nadine Wallaschek. “The app will integrate well with our cloud-based library systems, which include the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform and Primo® discovery solution, and will offer our patrons the convenience of a single point of access. The Library Mobile app will take our digital services to the next level, providing the modern and forward-looking experience that our users expect.”
