Ex Libris Inc., is pleased to announce that the Southern Adventist University has selected the entire suite of Ex Libris products to update its existing library management infrastructure: ALEPH 500™ for next-generation library management system, MetaLib®/SFX® for federated searching and linking services, DigiTool for digital asset management, and Verde for its electronic resource management system. ALEPH will be replacing an existing SIRS Mandarin™ system.
According to Genevieve Cottrell, Director of Libraries at Southern Adventists McKee Library, Ex Libris has a vision of the future that best meets our needs. We’re excited about that future and all it means for our customers and our university.
Southern Adventist is a welcome addition to the growing Ex Libris family of libraries, commented Dan Trajman, President, Ex Libris, Inc. Taken together with our recent selection by the Union Theological Seminary, Southerns decision to adopt the Ex Libris product line emphasizes the fact that our products are suitable for libraries both large and small. We are particularly gratified at Southerns adoption of the entire suite of Ex Libris products as it shows their acceptance of our philosophy of adding functionality and value that go beyond realms addressed in the traditional library management system.
