ALEPH Polska, the exclusive distributor of Ex Libris products in Poland, is pleased to announce two recently signed contracts for ALEPH 500™ version 16. Following a thorough Request for Proposal process, ALEPH 500 was selected to replace the existing Co-Liber system at the Library of the National Bank of Poland. An equally comprehensive selection process preceded the selection of ALEPH 500 by the Warsaw Agricultural University to replace its existing Polish KRUK system.

The tasks of the National Bank of Poland (NBP), the central bank of the Polish Republic, are stipulated in the National Bank of Poland and the Banking Act Constitution of the Republic of Poland. The fundamental objective of the NBP’s activity is to maintain price stability. The institutions Library is located in central Warsaw and is open to the public.
The National Bank of Poland joins a distinguished group of banking institutions running Ex Libris products. About the Warsaw Agricultural University:
The Warsaw Agricultural University (SGGW) is the oldest academic agricultural school in Poland and one of the first in the world. Its history dates back to 1816 when the Institute of Agronomy was created. At present, over 20 thousand students choose from 23 disciplines and 61 specialties offered by the Universitys 11 faculties and six interfaculty units. Research areas cover the entire field of agricultural-related sciences including agriculture, veterinary medicine, forestry, economics, food technology, human nutrition, as well as environmental protection and engineering.
