The university will implement the campusM solution as part of an overall plan to meet the challenges of 2021 and beyond
London, UK—January 14, 2021. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that Scotland’s University of Stirling has selected the Ex Libris campusM™ mobile app and web portal as part of the university’s digital strategy. Implemented at educational institutions around the world, the campusM platform provides university communities with easy, on-the-go access to personalized services and constantly changing information.
The introduction of a mobile platform at the University of Stirling enhances engagement with and connectivity between students and staff, enabling them to quickly and simply obtain the information they require through their mobile devices. The value of a mobile platform has become even more apparent during the global pandemic.
Through the rapid delivery of timely information during this challenging era, the user-focused campusM solution will revolutionize the social and academic life of staff and students at Stirling.
Stirling sought an app that would enable its students and staff to use their mobile devices for viewing personalized information and for connecting to services related to classes, university events, library resources, timetables, and more. The adoption of the campusM platform will close the gap in Stirling’s digital strategy, providing users with a one-stop shop where they can access all such information anywhere, at any time.
“Moving our services to cloud-based solutions is part of our strategy, which also allows us to work on the value elements of the tools so that our users (students and staff) have a great experience, rather than using our resources to support the technology,” commented James Blair, director of development and operations at the University of Stirling. “Through the rapid delivery of timely information during this challenging era, the user-focused campusM solution will revolutionize the social and academic life of staff and students at Stirling.”
James Tapp, VP Sales of Ex Libris EMEA, said, “Ex Libris is delighted to welcome the University of Stirling to the campusM user community. We look forward to partnering with the university in delivering enhanced mobile services that will enrich the teaching and learning experience for our users, regardless of their location.”
