Ex Libris, Clarivate is pleased to announce the release of Leganto AI Syllabus Assistant!
Now instructors can simply upload a course syllabus, and our AI Syllabus Assistant will quickly identify all references and create a complete Leganto resource list in seconds.
As always, Leganto will match course materials with the library’s collection, providing students with direct access to resources and maximizing the use of the library collections.
This powerful feature not only streamlines the process for instructors, making it easier than ever to integrate library resources into their courses, but it also ensures students have affordable and direct access to essential materials. Additionally, it provides libraries with valuable insights into how the library collection supports courses and where there may be gaps in the library’s collections.
Here is some feedback from our early access customers:
“From the instructor perspective, this could open their eyes a bit more to what the Leganto list could do for them. They might have only thought to send their required textbook to the library and that’s it, but in this syllabus, the instructor has a lot of additional things the library could link to for their students.”
“It’s great to have things listed by the heading that’s in the syllabus. It just mimics the syllabus”
A beta version of the feature is now available for library staff to begin testing, and the full release is expected in Q3. In the meantime, check out this video to see it in action: https://youtu.be/A0uwp9Re73g?feature=shared
