campusM, Ex Libris’ leading student engagement app, has recently released its comprehensive calendar enhancement, Day View. Day View builds on campusM calendar feature by seamlessly integrating even more events and activities directly into students’ schedules.

Day View is the first feature based on the new campusM data model, which automatically merges data from multiple product integrations. By connecting the dots between systems, campusM will help students to get things done by showing them everything they need to know about their day within a single app interface.

“campusM usage data consistently shows the timetable to be one of the most used features of the app,” shares Matt Sherlock, campusM’s product strategy director. “With Day View, we’re making the calendar even more useful to students by bringing together event and timetable activities in one calendar view and putting a snapshot of their day right on the home screen.”

In the coming year, the campusM team is planning on releasing additional features to Day View, including:

  • User-configured reminder notifications,
  • Surfacing tasks from Task Board within the calendar, and
  • Allowing students to add their own events to the calendar.

At present, Day View is only available to customers that have upgraded to the new React Native platform.
