With Rialto libraries can now make truly strategic, data-informed decisions. Rialto is evolving to become a hub in the ILS for all collection development related tasks. whether acquisition and collection expansion, and whether retention or deselection.
With real-time data visibility, seamless integration with Alma, Leganto, and Rapido, and millions of titles from top publishers, Rialto enables librarians to save time and collaborate more effectively across teams. Already trusted by 500+ academic libraries worldwide, Rialto is redefining how collection strategies are executed.
The first two collection development workflows are released – Retention – which enables libraries to identify resources that should be kept ensuring the integrity of their collections, and Deselection – which assists librarians in finding which resources they afford to eliminate. These are the first 2 workflows in a series of collection development workflows that will expand Rialto’s capabilities to help library staff make smarter decisions with less manual effort.

This launch wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration of our library community. Together, we’re building smarter, more sustainable ways to serve patrons and manage collections strategically.
