Rapido continues to gain momentum as a leading solution for modern resource sharing. In 2025, the Ex Libris resource sharing ecosystem processed more than 5.5 million requests, reflecting the growing demand for fast, seamless access to library resources.
Today, over 900 institutions actively use Rapido and RapidILL worldwide, benefiting from high fulfillment rates, streamlined workflows, and an increasingly efficient, user-driven experience. Recent additions such as the University of Manitoba highlight strong adoption across North America, alongside continued global expansion.
As Wei Xuan, Associate University Librarian at the University of Manitoba Libraries, shared, Rapido stood out for its ability to integrate seamlessly with existing systems while simplifying workflows and improving the user experience.
