We have listened to your feedback and we are excited to offer a new solution, GuideMe (powered by WalkMe™), to our customers.

What is GuideMe? GuideMe is a help tool that is layered over Alma and provides you with realtime, step-by-step guidance directly within the library management system for selected workflows. GuideMe allows you to get just-in-time help and complete many of your day-to-day tasks without confusion or errors. With GuideMe, you now have the answers you need at your fingertips.
The following GuideMe flows will be available for preview in the December sandbox on December 4th:
- Configure pickup locations for requests
- Upload electronic holdings from ProQuest Ebook Central
- Run manual jobs on defined sets
- Contribute records to the Community Zone
- Extend Fiscal Period for a ledger
*Note: we will be releasing GuideMe on production in the January 2020 Alma release with built-in role segmentation. Only staff members with the relevant roles and permissions would see and be able to launch specific GuideMe flows.
How do I get started?
- Access the GuideMe menu from the Alma Help menu, or from the GuideMe launcher on the bottom right of the Alma home page
- Click on GuideMe icons within Alma to trigger the GuideMe flows
