Seeking next-generation solutions for the management and discovery of electronic content, this ARL member joins the growing Alma community
Chicago, IL—March 31, 2016. Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that Colorado State University (CSU) has selected the Ex Libris Alma® resource management solution and the Primo® discovery and delivery solution, also from Ex Libris. A member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), CSU will be migrating from Innovative Interfaces Millennium and the VuFind library resource portal.
With electronic resources making up a significant portion of its library collections, Colorado State University was in search of a modern system designed to manage more than just print materials. Flexibility, interoperability, and workflow efficiency were major factors in the decision-making process. CSU also required an extremely intuitive, web-scale discovery interface that would facilitate research by faculty members and students.
The Alma-Primo combination will serve to efficiently manage CSU’s current collections and the complex operations of the library. Enabling libraries to deliver electronic content in a modern, up-to-date manner, these Ex Libris solutions will make it easier for staff to meet the high demand for library services.
