Newton, MA Today, Ex Libris announced that Heidi Trockman and Ted Koppel have joined Ex Libris as the newest members to its growing marketing team. In her newly-created role as Marketing Manager, Ms. Trockman will manage all marketing communication initiatives for Ex Libris rapidly expanding North American market. Mr. Koppel joins Ex Libris as Product Manager for Verde, Ex Libris electronic resource management system. Both join a global Product Management and Marketing team at Ex Libris and will be based in the Boston office. I am delighted to be part of the Ex Libris team, said Ms. Trockman. Ms. Trockman managed sales and marketing programs for several high-profile companies prior to joining Ex Libris including Kronos where she implemented a successful national seminar program and managed the companys first telesales initiative. Most recently, she was a Brand Manager for Genuity where she played a key role in the companys first major product launch. Ms. Trockman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College and holds her bachelors degree in Communications with a minor in Fine Arts. Mr. Koppel brings to this position significant product management and related experience in the library and information marketplace. His prior experience includes working at the CARL Corporation, OCLC and most recently, Senior Product Manager for Standards Implementation at The Library Corporation (TLC) where he represented TLC on numerous industry standards committees. Mr. Koppel holds a Bachelors degree in languages from Georgetown with a minor in Arabic. He also has an MSLS from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
