New corporate image reflects Ex Libris core business values in content, style, and form
_x000D_Ex Libris Group today launched its new corporate branding, which conveys the essence of the company—providing a comprehensive suite of solutions for managing the full spectrum of materials and processes for academic, research, and national libraries around the world.
_x000D_“Since its establishment in the 1980s, Ex Libris has been at the forefront of library automation and has retained its leadership position by combining award-winning technological expertise with a thorough understanding of market trends,” says Nancy Dushkin, VP marketing at Ex Libris. “As the library automation industry has grown and matured, so has Ex Libris and its product suite. Whereas the look and feel that we are leaving behind focused to a great extent on the world of traditional library materials—namely, print—our current message relates to our comprehensive offering. This offering enables libraries around the world to manage and disseminate the full spectrum of library materials—print, electronic, and digital. We work closely with our customers to design products that empower libraries to meet user demands for quick, easy, and effective discovery and delivery of knowledge. These are the messages that we aim to convey in the words, images, and colors that we have chosen.”
_x000D_“Our new branding is a reflection of who we are and what our corporate values are,” explains Matti Shem Tov, president and CEO of Ex Libris. “Although we now sport a new logo and a redesigned visual corporate identity, Ex Libris remains the same company in every way. Our new language reflects the corporate goals, strategy, and management style that have made Ex Libris a leading provider of library automation solutions to over 4,400 libraries worldwide. We see our company and product offering as the bridge that conveys knowledge from libraries to their patrons. By providing these institutions with the means to meet, and exceed, patrons’ expectations for finding and obtaining the information they need, patrons will continue to turn to libraries as their number one information source.”
_x000D_The new Ex Libris branding can be seen on the corporate Web site (www.exlibrisgroup.com) and will appear on the Ex Libris booth—#544—at the upcoming American Library Association Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia.
