Today Ex Libris announced that three Mississippi universities have chosen MetaLib® for their federated search solution. Included in the consortium are Mississippi State University, Mississippi University for Women, and Delta State University.
We looked at several solutions for our metasearch needs and MetaLib was the only product that provided the advanced functionality we required for federated searching, said Stephen Cunetto, Administrator of Systems for Mississippi State University Libraries. Also key was that Ex Libris offered a proven vendor-hosted solution that was easy to use and based on industry standards.
