In just a few weeks nearly 800 professionals focused on the success of libraries will be convening in Minneapolis from Monday, May 13 through Friday, May 17. The annual gathering of Ex Libris users will bring together library staff as well as solutions providers in a series of events delivering extensive connection, collaboration, and knowledge sharing opportunities.
The week kicks off with Ex Libris Knowledge Days, on Monday and Tuesday, where about 100 library staff will benefit from expert training to gain a deeper understanding and insight into Alma, Primo and more. Concurrently, more than 150 Ex Libris users will exchange ideas, innovations, and learn more about intermediate and advanced topics during the focused Developers Day+ and Analytics Afternoon events.
The highlight of the week is certainly the 2024 ELUNA Annual Meeting. The theme this year is “Building Bridges” and the community-driven program reflects how library technology can connect information, users, and communities. During this user-driven event, more than 200 user and vendor sessions will provide attendees an opportunity to gather insights from their colleagues and discuss best practices, innovative solutions, and learn how library technology continues to evolve.
The weeklong schedule certainly provides attendees ample opportunity to socialize and cultivate stronger relationships. In addition, they’ll benefit from the presence of onsite Ex Libris support staff to answer their pressing questions and can meet with representatives from event sponsors.
For those attending these events it’s certainly going to be a great opportunity for networking, learning, and growth. You can learn more about all the events happening in Minneapolis by visiting the joint event website.
