Ex Libris is pleased to present the latest version of the Alma Roadmap for 2023 and 2024. This updated roadmap brings a range of new features and functionalities across various aspects of Alma, including Acquisitions, Metadata Management, Resource Management, Fulfilment, and more.
The roadmap provides a comprehensive overview of the completed features in the first half of 2023, as well as the planned features for the second half of 2023, 2024, and a dedicated section on Linked Open Data, showcasing our intentions in this area.
One of the key themes for Alma in the upcoming year is Workflow Simplification. Alma aims to streamline processes making them more efficient to ensure a smoother experience for users. By focusing on simplifying workflows, Alma aims to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.
Another significant area of focus is Linked Data. Alma recognizes the importance of leveraging Linked Data principles to connect and integrate information from diverse sources. The dedicated section in the roadmap highlights our plans to harness the power of Linked Data and utilize it to provide richer and more interconnected data within Alma.
