President
Oded Scharfstein is President of Ex Libris, a ProQuest Company. He is responsible for leading Ex Libris’ global team to create innovative cloud-based solutions for higher-ed institutions, closely working with the Ex Libris customer community.
Mr. Scharfstein has more than 15 years of senior management experience and an in-depth understanding of the higher-ed market. He was part of the Ex Libris family for 14 years, starting as a product manager, managing the company’s Asia Pacific business, and ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer until 2016. He rejoined Ex Libris in January 2021 from LiveU, where he served as CFO and Chief Operations Officer.
Mr. Scharfstein holds an LLB degree (magna cum laude) and an MBA (summa cum laude) from Hebrew University. He is based in Ex Libris’ headquarters in Jerusalem.

Yaniv Alus joined Ex Libris in 2017 as Finance Director, leading the FP&A team in Ex Libris headquarters. He now serves as Vice President of Finance, leading and coordinating corporate financial planning and management, long term planning, support systems projects, and the compensation and benefits process. Prior to joining Ex Libris, Yaniv spent eleven years at Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX), beginning as a financial analyst and progressing to the roles of Pricing Manager and Finance Business Partner. Yaniv holds a BA in Economics and Logistics from Bar-Ilan University and an MBA from Ben Gurion University.

Sarit Olamy joined Ex Libris in 2003 as VP of Human Resources.
Over the past 15 years, Ms. Olamy has led the overall management, recruitment and retention of staff and has implemented all career and training development for the company. Most importantly, Ms. Olamy has ensured the strong professional development and job satisfaction of all Ex Libris employees, supporting the Ex Libris culture and mission.
Previously, Ms. Olamy served as Human Resources Manager at Trellis Photonics, where she led all HR activities. Prior to her time at Trellis Photonics, Ms. Olamy spent 5 years at Intel and Amdocs as a Compensation & Benefit and Relocation specialist.
Ms. Olamy holds an MSc in Business Management from Polytechnic University in Israel and a BA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Jane Burke has joined Ex Libris after ten years with ProQuest. In her new role, Ms. Burke has responsibility for an emerging “customer success” practice and for customer renewals. Previously, Ms. Burke was the executive sponsor of Intota™, ProQuest’s next generation library management solution. Since joining ProQuest in 2005, Ms. Burke was instrumental in leading the business unit of ProQuest that developed software solutions, as well as serving in other senior leadership roles for ProQuest.
Ms. Burke is a well-known and respected leader in the information solutions industry. Prior to joining ProQuest, she co-founded and served as President/CEO of Endeavor Information Systems until its sale to Reed-Elsevier. Under her direction, Endeavor grew to become a $25 million company with a reputation for being customer-centric. In addition to working as a librarian at Cook Memorial Library in Libertyville Illinois early in her career, Ms. Burke also served as President of NOTIS Systems, a technology transfer out of Northwestern University.

Yaniv Cohen joined Ex Libris in 2017 as the Corporate VP of Global Professional Services. Prior to joining Ex Libris, Mr. Cohen served in several management positions at Verint Systems, including COO, VP Business Development, and VP Customer Care. In his time at Verint, Mr. Cohen managed delivery and operations for the Cyber Intelligence business unit, assembled a breakthrough innovation team to establish new competitive and innovative products, and managed the full breadth of teams including R&D, Product Management, Architecture, Engineering and Operations. Previous to his work at Verint Systems, Mr. Cohen held positions at Emblaze Systems and Elbit Systems.
Mr. Cohen holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering & Management from Coventry University and an MSc in Business Management from Polytechnic University, both in Israel. He has served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Israel Air Force.

Omri Gerson currently serves as the Corporate VP of Platform and Technologies. As such, he is responsible for the technological platform that powers Ex Libris next-generation products.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Gerson served as VP Development. He has headed the Alma development team from its very beginning and played a major role in the transition of Ex Libris products to the cloud.
Mr. Gerson joined Ex Libris in 1993 and held development positions in the Aleph, SFX, and Verde teams before spearheading Alma development. Mr. Gerson holds a BSc in Computer Sciences and an MBA in Marketing & Finance, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Osher Gilinsky joined Ex Libris Group as Corporate VP and APAC General Manager in 2019, overseeing all business operations in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Ex Libris, Mr. Gilinsky spent 15 years in management positions at Applied Materials (Nasdaq: AMAT), a global leader in precision materials and engineering solutions for the semiconductor, flat panel display and solar photovoltaic industries. In his role as the Sales General Manager, Mr. Gilinsky grew business fourfold, achieving record growth while successfully navigating through industry consolidation and changing industry dynamics.
Prior to joining Applied Materials, Mr. Gilinsky held several positions at the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Mr. Gilinsky holds an MBA from HULT Business school and a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Industrial Engineering from Tel-Aviv University.

Eric Hines joined Ex Libris Group as president of Ex Libris North America in October 2014. Bringing with him vast experience in executive leadership, Mr. Hines is responsible for the company’s business operations in North America.
Mr. Hines came to Ex Libris after holding senior management positions for 10 years at NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE), a leading worldwide provider of intent-based solutions that capture and analyze customer interactions. During his tenure at NICE, he played a significant role in acquiring major customer accounts and developing the company’s business strategy. Previously, Mr. Hines held management positions at Amdocs, Clarify, and SAP.
Mr. Hines earned an MBA degree in International Business from Xavier University, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a BA in Chemistry from Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Tammy Shomron-Vinograd joined Ex Libris in 2018 as VP of Business Operations. Prior to joining Ex Libris, Ms. Shomron-Vinograd led the Business Applications group at NICE Systems following other managerial roles in Information Systems.
In her roles at NICE, Ms. Shomron-Vinograd led cross-functional process and system transformation and ongoing process and system improvements that supported the company’s growth and strategic roadmap, including extending the company’s quote-to-cash process from supporting hardware to supporting software and SaaS business.
Ms. Shomron-Vinograd holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tel Aviv University.

Dvir currently serves as Corporate VP for Resource Management Solutions. He joined the Ex Libris Group in 2010 and prior to his current role served as the VP for Product Management and Marketing. Dvir has over 17 years of technology and managerial expertise from a variety of roles including marketing, product management and software development.
Before joining Ex Libris, Mr. Hoffman served as the Head of Product Management at Imperva (NASDAQ:IMPV). Prior to this he worked at NICE (NASDAQ: NICE), where he held several product management positions and subsequently served as the Trading Floors Market Manager, where he led the company’s trading floors business and solutions, expanding and growing this business globally. Prior to his work at NICE, Dvir held product management and development positions at EMC² (NASDAQ: EMC). Mr. Hoffman holds a BSc in Information Systems Engineering and an MBA, both from Ben-Gurion University.

Shlomi Kringel joined Ex Libris in January 2014 as Corporate VP of Discovery and Delivery Solutions. In 2018 he became Corporate VP of Learning and Research Solutions.
For the past 20 years, Mr. Kringel has been managing technology organizations in the enterprise software and telecommunications industries.
Mr. Kringel comes to Ex Libris from NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE), a leading worldwide provider of intent-based solutions that capture and analyze customer interactions.
At NICE, Mr. Kringel was vice president and general manager of analytics business applications. Previously, Mr. Kringel co-founded TVGate, a startup in the interactive TV arena and later led the Mobile Internet and Voice Solutions unit at Comverse.
Mr. Kringel holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Ofer Mosseri comes to Ex Libris after 15 years at NICE Systems (Nasdaq: NICE), where he served most recently as vice president for solution sales in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
At NICE, he was instrumental in developing the company’s business in the EMEA region, including heading the regional marketing and business development operation, leading the integration of key acquisitions, and establishing and leading the solution sales operation.
Mr. Mosseri holds an MBA from Haifa University and an MA in American history and BA in Political Science and Economics, both from Tel Aviv University.

Ido Peled joined Ex Libris Group in August 2007 and currently serves as the Corporate VP of Mobile Campus Solutions. Prior to his current position, Mr. Peled served as VP Solutions and Marketing in Ex Libris North America, leading the region’s pre-sales and marketing operations and playing an instrumental role in the growth of Ex Libris next generation solutions. During his years at Ex Libris, Mr. Peled has held development and product management positions in the Primo, Rosetta and DigiTool teams. Mr. Peled holds a BSc in Computer Science (cum laude) and Media Communications from Tel Aviv University.
