The roadmap provides a comprehensive overview of the completed features in the first half of 2023, as well as the planned features for the second half of 2023, 2024, and a dedicated section on Linked Open Data, showcasing our intentions in this area.

One of the key themes for Alma in the upcoming year is Workflow Simplification. Alma aims to streamline processes making them more efficient to ensure a smoother experience for users. By focusing on simplifying workflows, Alma aims to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.

Another significant area of focus is Linked Data. Alma recognizes the importance of leveraging Linked Data principles to connect and integrate information from diverse sources. The dedicated section in the roadmap highlights our plans to harness the power of Linked Data and utilize it to provide richer and more interconnected data within Alma.

It is important to note that this roadmap offers a high-level overview and does not encompass all the planned enhancements for each quarterly release. Alma’s development team is continuously working to refine and improve the system, incorporating user feedback and market trends to shape future updates. This is a good opportunity to thank our user community for their invaluable contribution and collaboration in helping to shape the Alma library management system roadmap.

We are excited about the progress Alma has made and the opportunities it presents for our users. The new features and functionalities outlined in the roadmap demonstrate our commitment to delivering a robust and versatile system that meets the evolving needs of our users.
