Barbara Rad-El, Senior Librarian, Resources Management, Ex Libris
Lots of new features and enhancements in the Alma November release! Here is one enhancement that was voted by the Ex Libris customer community, as part of the New Enhancements Request System (NERS) voting process.
The Alma November release extends current set functionality by enabling you to filter a set to create a new set. This is especially helpful when you need a set that is based on metadata elements that are not indexed. This new capability is implemented with indication rules – similar to normalization rules – to filter existing sets.
