Ex Libris, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Novanet consortium in Nova Scotia has selected ALEPH 500™ to replace its existing GEAC Advance library management system. Novanet is comprised of the libraries of the Atlantic School of Theology, Dalhousie University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, NSCAD University, Nova Scotia Community College, Saint Marys University, St. Francis Xavier University, University College of Cape Breton, and University of Kings College.
Novanet is very excited to be implementing the Ex Libris library management system. As a consortium of 10 post-secondary institutions, Novanet is committed to delivering quality service to library users throughout the province of Nova Scotia and Ex Libris will provide a sound platform from which to do so, said Marie DeYoung, Chair of the Novanet Policy Board.
The addition of Novanet and its prestigious group of libraries is a significant addition to the Canadian wing of the Ex Libris ALEPH 500 customer base, according to Susan M. Pastore, Vice President, Sales, for Ex Libris, Inc. Novanet and its combined schools represent a major educational establishment on the Atlantic Coast of Canada. We are looking forward to working with the staff of Novanet and the Novanet schools as we migrate them to a state-of-the-art library platform.
