The campusM native apps and web portal will promote dynamic, personalized communication and provide opportunities for the university to create innovative services for students
London, UK—June 19, 2018. Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that the University of Cergy-Pontoise (UCP) in Paris, a leading international university, has selected the Ex Libris campusM™ mobile platform to enhance communication and services for students and staff across its six campuses. The platform will enable the university to deliver dynamic, personalized content and apps on smartphones, tablets, and web browsers.
The university made the decision to replace its static browser-based web portal with campusM in response to input from a diverse student body comprising digital natives, who expect instant access to campus systems, services, and content regardless of time and location. With the campusM platform, the university will have the tools to provide real-time, on-demand access to information that will help students succeed. UCP will also use campusM to create innovative student services in order to increase student satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
campusM will give students and staff a single point of access to all university services and information. We will be using campusM to provide personalized content and services on demand and via push messages.
The Ex Libris campusM mobile app platform has been implemented by leading universities across Europe, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region to deliver personalized services and content. A flexible platform, campusM can be integrated with various campus systems, including student records systems, learning management systems, and library solutions. Non-technical administrators are easily able to create and publish dynamic content and real-time information and deliver it to specific groups of users, while IT professionals can use the campusM Application Extension Kit to develop new mobile apps on the iOS and Android platforms.
UCP Communication Manager Stéphane Potelle said, “campusM will give students and staff a single point of access to all university services and information. We will be using campusM to provide personalized content and services on demand and via push messages. We look forward to developing new mobile-friendly services that will enhance the teaching, learning, and student life experience that the university offers.”
Ofer Mosseri, corporate vice president and general manager of Ex Libris EMEA, said, “We are delighted that the University of Cergy-Pontoise is building its new mobile services on the campusM mobile platform, which has been shown to improve learning outcomes and foster student success.”
