Continually a leader in the adoption of new technological solutions, the University of Haifa chooses Primo to enhance its library users’ experience
Jerusalem, Israel — August 31, 2008. Ex Libris Group™ is pleased to announce that the University of Haifa library has selected Primo® to serve as the unified point of access to all of the library’s collections. One of the first Ex Libris customers in Israel, the University of Haifa library currently runs the Aleph® integrated library system, SFX® OpenURL link server, MetaLib® gateway and metasearch portal, and DigiTool® digital asset management system, all from Ex Libris.

The University of Haifa central library, which houses over 2 million items, offers its various target audiences a wide range of library resources: an extensive, growing collection of printed materials and digital assets (electronic databases, electronic journals, and digital images), supported by advanced storage and retrieval technology, and reference and instructional services.
