Scalability, open architecture, and a shared vision of the future of library automation prompted Notre Dame to choose the Ex Libris Primo solution
Chicago, IL — June 19, 2008. Ex Libris Group™ is pleased to announce that the Hesburgh Libraries of Notre Dame in conjunction with its colleagues in the Michiana Academic Library Consortium have selected the Primo® discovery and delivery solution to serve as a major library portal. An Ex Libris customer for over 10 years, Notre Dame was the first North American institution to implement the Ex Libris Aleph® integrated library system. Since that time, Notre Dame has gone on to acquire the SFX® OpenURL link server, MetaLib® gateway and metasearch portal, Verde® e-resource management system, and DigiTool® digital asset management system, all from Ex Libris.
