Joining the growing number of institutions running Alma, Salford now enjoys streamlined systems and a lower total cost of ownership

Ex Libris® Group, a world leader in the provision of library automation solutions, is pleased to announce that the University of Salford in the United Kingdom has gone into production with the next-generation Alma library management solution. After improving its users’ discovery and delivery experience with the Ex Libris Primo® discovery solution in 2011, the University of Salford has now replaced multiple systems, including its link resolver and its Capita (Talis) library management system with Alma, which provides more effective management of library resources.
